State Sen. Lou D’Allesandro, seated center, was honored by Goffstown Democrats for his many years of service to the town during a holiday celebration on Sunday, Dec. 4 at the Masonic Hall on Mountain Road. D’Allesandro, currently the longest-serving member of the New Hampshire Senate, represented District 20 for more than 20 years, from 1999 through the partisan redistricting of 2021 that removed Goffstown, and has been reelected in the newly redrawn district. His door will always be open to Goffstown, he told the group.

HEADING TO CONCORD — Judi Greene Lanza, a 30-year Goffstown resident, mother of three, longtime maternity nurse at Elliot Hospital, and dedicated Democratic activist, will represent Goffstown in the New Hampshire House of Representatives for the next two years. Judi’s 8-vote margin was confirmed in a recount Nov. 16. Our thanks for all of the hard work to Judi and our other great candidates this year: Curt DeVetter, Melanie Renfrew-Hebert, Dian McCarthy, David Trumble and Judith Gaynor Johnson.
